Titans Investment in Mianyang Series Report (I)Mianyang -- the hot land of New Energy Vehicles

December 12, 2014, Mr. Li Xin Qing, the Chairman of China Titans Energy Technology Group Limited (China Titans) presented the conference of “Policy Series Promotion of China Science and Technolgy City-Mianyang Construction” in Mianyan, Sichuan Province and spoke at the conference. He expressed that Titans will set up a JV company to invest a construction base for power charging and storage equipment production of new energy vehicles (NEV) in Mianyang .
Mianyang has a long history and has an advantageous regional location. It is the center city of Chengdu-Chongqing-Mianyang Economic Circle, and has been awarded “the best example of improving living standard” by the United Nations and the “National Civilized City” by Chinese Government. Mianyang, with developed technology and flourishing industries, is the only national-level science and technology city which the State Council has approved for construction. It is an important base for national defense technology research and development as well as the electronic industry production. There are 18 state-level science and research institutes, 14 colleges and universities, 28 academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering, as well as many national laboratories, technology centers and has rich professional and technical personnel reserves .
The PCC, the State Council, the Sichuan Provincial Government highly value the development of Mianyang and the construction of the science and technology city. A series of policies have been issued. Mianyang municipal party committee and municipal government list the NEV industry as the “4+3” high growth industries to be specially cultivated and supported. Mianyang is the first one who issued the “NEV Promotion and Application Advices” in Sichuan and on December 9, “China Science and Technology City-Mianyang NEV Industry Alliance” and “NEV Intelligent Service Innovation Industry Alliance” were established in Hebei-Pingwu Industry Zone. Recently, Mianyang Government has issued a series of policies and these policies will greatly push and accelerate the development of NEV industry, many large enterprises have decided to invest NEV project in Mianyang.
With Mianyang strong policy support and its rich professional reserves, Titans would like to follow the policy guidance to lead the technology trend and speed up the development of Titans research, production, sales and service system of EV charging in Sichuan and west regions of China.
